The Mississippi Department of Human Services (MDHS) announces Child Care Strong Stabilization Funds! Learn what you need in order to apply beginning December 1st, 2021.

Recently, MDHS shared the process for applying for Child Care Stabilization funds, called Child Care Strong in Mississippi. Child Care Strong funding will provide a significant amount of resources for eligible childcare centers. MELA summarized the information provided by MDHS in the summary guide below. The Mississippi Statewide Afterschool Network wanted to create a mapping tool to better understand the landscape of afterschool and summer programs available for children and families. From the initial launch of the new mapping tool, we have identified some startling findings.
