The Mississippi Department of Education (MDE), through the Office of Federal Programs (OFP), is seeking competitive written proposals from qualified applicants to provide services to local educational agencies (LEAs) addressing learning loss.
Learning loss services must address activities and interventions that respond to students’ academic, social, and emotional needs. Proposals must address the implementation of evidence-based interventions aimed specifically at addressing learning loss, such as evidence-based summer enrichment programs, evidence-based, comprehensive afterschool programs, extended day, or extended year programs.
Grants will be awarded for a period of up to three (3) years to any public or private organization, including local educational agencies, non-profit agencies, city or county government agencies, community-based organizations, Indian tribes or tribal organizations, faith-based organizations, institutions of higher education, or for-profit corporations.
