From developing cures for cancer to addressing the global food crisis, genomics offers a world of exciting career opportunities. STEM Next and Illumina are bringing the power of DNA science to afterschool and summer programs nationwide with the “Future is Bright” campaign. Through hands-on activities like DNA extraction experiments and career chats with genomics leaders, young people across America are discovering that innovation is in their DNA. Breakthroughs in health, agriculture, and beyond all connect back to the power of genomics.
